Visium Names Mayank Bulsara Executive Vice President, Business Development and Strategy
Advanced-technology company appoints global commercialization and strategy leader to accelerate the market deployment and adoption of its Far-UVC LED technology.
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (October 09, 2026) — Visium, the advanced-technology company building the world’s most sophisticated infection-prevention infrastructure, today announced that Mayank Bulsara has joined as Executive Vice President, Business Development and Strategy for Visium UltraLabs. In this role, Bulsara will enable Visium’s advances in ultrawide-bandgap semiconductor science and technology for commercial deployment, helping the company take its Far-UVC technology from proven, revenue-generating use today toward broader adoption.
“Mayank brings global experience working with every aspect of new technology introduction, deployment, and scaling, which is exactly what we need as we move from stealth to scale,” said Jason DiBona, CEO of Visium. “He has already made an impact building relationships with prospective partners and helping shape how we bring our technology to market. We’re glad to have him on the team.”
“Bringing Mayank on is a direct investment in Visium’s mission of making safer indoor environments a standard feature of modern life,” said John Rajchert, co-founder of Visium. “His global experience taking new technologies from introduction through deployment and scaling, and his eye for building the right partnerships, are exactly what we need as we take our advanced-materials platform from a proven biosecurity business today to the broader opportunities ahead.”
Bulsara’s focus is on enabling Visium’s advances in ultrawide-bandgap semiconductor science and technology for commercial deployment, building the partnerships and business relationships that help move the company’s innovations from the lab to the market. He will also work closely with Visium’s science and engineering teams as the company develops its Far-UVC LED technology, which is manufactured within the sub-235nm Far-UVC band and is designed for continuous, human-safe pathogen elimination, inactivating up to 99.9% of airborne pathogens in minutes, in hospitals, healthcare facilities, and other occupied spaces.
“Visium is at an inflection point, with breakthrough Far-UVC LED technology and a growing set of partnership opportunities in front of it,” said Bulsara. “I’m excited to bring my global experience across new technology introduction, deployment, and scaling to help take this technology from the lab to the market and help make safer indoor environments a standard feature of modern life.”
Bulsara joins Visium after a career in technology commercialization, business development, and strategy, most recently at Nippon Sanso. He brings global experience working with every aspect of new technology introduction, deployment, and scaling.
About Visium
Visium’s mission is to make safer indoor environments a standard feature of modern life. Visium is headquartered in West Palm Beach, Florida, with its Visium Ultralabs operation based in Ithaca, New York, building the world’s most sophisticated infection-prevention infrastructure: far-UVC LED technology, manufactured within the sub-235nm far-UVC band, deployed today for continuous, human-safe pathogen elimination in hospitals, healthcare facilities, and other occupied spaces. Visium’s technology is built on an American-made ultra wide band gap semiconductor platform, using AlGaN/GaN heterostructures that enable both far-UVC LEDs and, longer term, high electron mobility transistors (HEMTs) for RF and power electronics, giving the company room to grow well beyond disinfection. Visium is investing in the technologies and capabilities that improve performance, scalability, economics, safety, and adoption in service of broad adoption, healthier environments, and American technological leadership.
