By implementing Visium Far-UVC, Related Ross introduced a built-in system that continuously inactivates pathogens in the air and on surfaces, supporting a cleaner, more resilient workplace without disrupting day-to-day operations.

THE CHALLENGE

Traditional cleaning methods leave gaps between scheduled cleaning cycles, allowing microbes to accumulate on high-touch surfaces. In high-traffic communal areas, airborne and surface contaminants can circulate throughout the environment. At 360 Rosemary, Related Ross addresses this by implementing Visium Far-UVC, which continuously inactivates pathogens in the air and on surfaces, supporting a cleaner, more consistent environment for tenants, staff and visitors.
OUR SOLUTION: Visium Far-UVC Fixtures

Eighteen Visium devices were installed across the elevator lobby, conference rooms, and fitness center. Far-UVC continuously inactivates bioaerosols and surface bioburden, covering 3,282 sqft of space.

Devices were recessed into the ceiling so the Visium fixtures blend seamlessly into the space, delivering continuous sanitization very little light and no audible sound.

Third-Party Test Results

 

Surface sampling and air samples were taken of a popular conference room to investigate changes in bioburden before and after Visium use. Samples were collected same day from the same locations while staff and occupants actively used the room.

Six locations within the conference room had their surfaces swabbed for comparison and quantification by an independent test lab, US Micro Solutions. Air was collected in triplicate.

Visium devices were off prior to sampling. Baseline samples were taken and then the Visium devices turned on while the conference room was actively used. Sampling was repeated 5 hours later.

Results showed that, while the surfaces are wiped down between each room use, Visium still was able to reduce the bacterial abundance on working surfaces by up to 96% compared to without Far-UVC. On average, surfaces had 41% less bioburden in just 5 hours of Visium use. Air samples demonstrated an 82% reduction in airborne bacteria with Visium use.

Taken together, collected data demonstrated that Visium use lowers bioburden on air and on surfaces of active use rooms.
