RSE Ventures Implements Visium Far-UVC for Safer Shared Spaces
Far-UVC is proven to reduce microbial burden on shared surfaces and in the air—making high-traffic areas healthier for employees and guests.
OVERVIEW
RSE Ventures is a next-generation private investment firm known for backing breakthrough consumer brands including Momofuku, Magnolia Bakery, Magic Spoon, and Bluestone Lane. Its Summit, NJ office serves as a collaboration hub for its team and portfolio of brands.
With a fast-paced, high-touch work environment—including conference rooms, private offices, open workspaces, and a shared kitchen—RSE sought a modern solution to improve environmental hygiene and reduce the risk of spreading illness in shared spaces.
THE CHALLENGE
Traditional cleaning routines are often incomplete, leaving gaps between sessions—and they don’t address the bigger issue: airborne pathogens that settle onto surfaces and become vectors for transmission. In an active workplace like RSE’s, those gaps can lead to elevated exposure during everyday interactions. RSE needed a passive, continuous solution to help protect its people—without disrupting how they work.
OUR SOLUTION: Visium Far-UVC
RSE installed 16 Visium Far-UVC devices in key gathering spaces throughout the office, covering approximately 2,500 square feet. The recessed ceiling fixtures offered a discreet, architectural fit without any noise or visual distraction. Visium’s 222nm Far-UVC fixtures safely inactivate airborne and surface pathogens in real time—even while rooms are occupied—creating an always-on layer of protection.
KEY FEATURES
- Continuous 24/7 air and surface sanitization
- Far-UVC tech proven to reduce airborne pathogens
- Discreet and silent operation, for a patient-centered environment
- Visium app bridges IoT connectivity for real-time monitoring via mobile devices
A key benefit of Visium is that it’s silent and visually inconspicuous, providing continuous sanitization with zero disruption or distraction.

THIRD PARTY TEST RESULTS
Sampling taken of high touch surfaces, such as desks and tables, before Visium was turned on compared to 4½ hours of use show clear reduction of bioburden. Fourteen locations across four rooms had their surfaces swabbed for comparison and quantification by an independent test lab, US Microsolutions.
Visium had been used in the office for a month ahead of sampling, so the Visium fixtures were turned off for 48 hours ahead of sampling to allow for a baseline to be established.
Results showed that Visium reduced the bacterial abundance on high touch surfaces up to 97% within 4 ½ hours of Far-UVC use, with an average reduction of 90%.

OUTCOME
Visium seamlessly integrated into the RSE Ventures facilities, providing continuous sanitization verified by biological sampling.
Visium provided continuous sanitization that
was verified by biological sampling.
Visium seamlessly integrated into RSE’s daily operations and modern aesthetic while significantly reducing microbial presence.
Validated reduction in surface bioburden indicates Visium maintained cleaner environments throughout the day
Pathogen reduction correlates to reduced risk of transmission in shared, high-traffic areas
Viewed by the staff and visitors as an important benefit for workplace health, Visium enabled healthier, more resilient workplace operations
“Visium Far-UVC has become a core part of how we protect our team and maintain a healthier workplace. We believe the future of workplace safety includes technologies that work quietly in the background to improve the environment without disruption. After installing and validating Visium’s performance through independent swab testing, we saw a clear reduction in pathogens. In a business where our people make the difference, we’re actively creating a cleaner, safer, healthier environment.”
