Mayank Bulsara

EVP of Business Development and Strategy for Visium Ultralabs

Dr. Bulsara leads the commercial deployment of Visium’s far-UVC LED technology and the company’s advances in ultra wide band gap semiconductor science for RF and power electronics. He is responsible for building the partnerships and go-to-market strategy that take Visium Ultralabs’ technology from today’s proven, revenue-generating deployment toward broader adoption.

Dr. Bulsara joins Visium Ultralabs after a career in technology commercialization, business development, and strategy. He was most recently Vice President, Global Innovation at Nippon Sanso, where he was responsible for translating established and emerging product categories into sustainable business platforms outside of Japan. Before that, he was Chief Scientist at SunEdison Semiconductor (formerly MEMC Electronic Materials), a public semiconductor materials company. Earlier in his career, he co-founded AmberWave Systems with Professor Eugene Fitzgerald of MIT, after earning his Ph.D. at MIT.

Dr. Bulsara’s background spans technology commercialization, semiconductor materials, and global business development, giving him direct experience with each stage of a new technology’s path from the lab to a scaled, revenue-generating business.
