Visium UltraLabs Scientific Leadership to Present at CLEO 2026

Visium UltraLabs and members of Visium’s scientific leadership team will participate in CLEO 2026, a premier international conference focused on advances in photonics, lasers, and optical science.

Visium UltraLabs and members of Visium’s scientific leadership team will participate in CLEO 2026, a premier international conference focused on advances in photonics, lasers, and optical science.

Shashwat Rathkanthiwar, Director of MOCVD Research at Visium UltraLabs, will present an invited talk titled “Far-UVC LEDs using pseudomorphic AlGaN” on Thursday, May 21 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM. His presentation will highlight ongoing advancements in Far-UVC LED development and semiconductor engineering.

In addition, Prof. Debdeep Jena of Cornell University, who works closely with Visium UltraLabs and serves on Visium’s Scientific Advisory Board, will present an invited talk titled “Deep-UV photonic devices enabled by distributed polarization doping.”

Prof. Jena is widely recognized as the inventor of distributed polarization doping, a foundational semiconductor technology enabling next-generation deep-UV photonic devices and advancing the future of Far-UVC innovation.
